A Celebration of the Life of David Stuart Davies, 1946 - 2024

David, you were such a wonderful, generous friend to us all. Charming, colourful (how we loved the riotous hues of those suits, ties and pocket handkerchiefs!) and full of fun, you welcomed me into the Sherlockian world with open arms; and, in a way, brought Paul and me together through your work, for which I shall always be so grateful. We will miss your warmth, razor-like wit and that wicked sense of humour which so often had us laughing till we cried - whether at The Vic, The Minster Inn or in the comfort of Chez Davies! You were one in a million, David ... and I feel so lucky to have met both you, and your darling Kathryn. xx
